Pre-Application for Arts & Crafts and Commercial Vendors
The Wing Dang Doodle Committee is now accepting applications from vendors who
would like to be considered for acceptance into this year’s festival.
Prospective participants are required to submit 3 clear photographs of their
booth and merchandise with a description of all items to be sold from the booth.
Deadline is August 15, 2008.
Criteria for Selection
Merchandise and services displayed and sold in the commercial section should be
high quality and not present a hazard to the public. Items such as sparklers,
fireworks, knives firearms, pepper sprays, poppers, canned string, fart sprays,
drug paraphernalia, pornographic materials, etc. will not be permitted.
Priority will be given to churches, non-profit and charitable organizations and
local individuals & businesses.
The uniqueness and originality of a vendor’s products or services and the
physical characteristics of a booth will be considered in the selection process.
The Wing Dang Doodle Committee reserves the right to limit the number of vendors
selling any type of merchandise and to exclude any display or merchandise deemed
unsuitable.
Designated Wing Dang Doodle sponsors have been granted exclusives for the
products. Vendors may not sell, display, dispense without charge, or advertise
similar products or lines of products from companies other than Wing Dang Doodle
sponsors.
Rules for Participation
Booths accepted must fit within the space purchased. This includes tie down,
trailer tongues, pop-up windows, etc. Encroachment on adjacent spaces is not
permitted. Each booth space is 12 by 15 feet in size.
Only items which have been listed on the pre-application and approved by the
Wing Dang Doodle committee will be allowed for sale or display at your booth.
Vendors are permitted to sell within their booth space and are not allowed to
sell merchandise outside their assigned area (ex: walking through the crowd)
No advertisements or signs for vendors are permitted outside the designated
booth space. Use of sound amplification devises and audio equipment (bullhorns,
P.A. systems) is strictly prohibited within the booth areas.
No firearms are allowed.
The Wing Dang Doodle reserves the right to prohibit or close any vendor’s booth
not in compliance with the rules and criteria set forth in this application.
Vendors wishing to be considered for participation in the Wing Dang Doodle
should complete the attached application and return it along with 3 clear
photos, reservation fee, and a stamped, self-addressed envelope before August
15, 2008.
Applicant’s who are selected will be sent a letter of acceptance and a final
information packet by September 1, 2008. All vendors not selected will be
notified. Reservation fees will be returned and placed on a waiting list in the
event of a cancellation.
The Wing Dang Doodle Committee’s goal is to maintain the highest standards and
to provide a wide variety of displays and products.
Any application not completed in its entirety may be returned. The Committee
reserves the right to reject any applicant.
