WING DANG DOODLE FESTIVAL
RULES AND REGULATIONS
September 27, 2008
The official team application must be completed and entrance fees received in
full by September 1, 2008. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged after September
1st.
All teams must be prepared to pick up wings at Gaddis Park Tennis Pavilion
Saturday morning at 7:00 and be responsible for storage until competition.
Teams will be cooking a minimum of 40 lbs and can receive up to 80 lbs of wings.
Wings may be cooked and presented in any fashion but will be received as whole
wings. Teams may choose from two divisions, Fried or Grilled/Smoked.
Wings will be served from 11:00 a.m. until teams run out of chicken. Teams will
be notified prior to judging. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the
festival.
Wing Dang Doodle cooking teams will be provided with paper trays and napkins to
serve ticket holders. All other materials including tents, tables, and supplies
are the responsibility of each team. No electricity is being provided unless by
special request.
Each designated area must be cleaned and trash bagged upon completion of
festival.
All rules and decisions made by the cooking committee are final.
Cash Prizes will be awarded in each division. In addition, a cash prize will be
awarded to “Most Spirited Booth”, so please decorate your area!
1st Prize – Grilled $200.00
1st Prize – Fried $200.00
Overall Winner with highest score - $1,000.00
Spirit/Creativity Award - $100.00
